Short answer: A macerator that keeps running may still be receiving water, may not be clearing the chamber, or may have a pressure-switch or control fault. Check whether a toilet cistern, tap or connected appliance is passing water, then stop use and arrange diagnosis if the cycle does not end normally.

Separate inflow from pump faults
A filling-valve or dripping-fixture problem can keep triggering an otherwise functional pump. If there is no incoming water, incomplete discharge or a control fault becomes more likely.
Do not let it run indefinitely
Continuous operation can overheat the motor and does not clear every blockage. Stop using connected fixtures while the cause is unresolved.
