Situation and next step
| Situation | Sensible next step |
|---|---|
| Adding a WC and basin | Select a product specifically permitting both fixtures. |
| Long or rising discharge route | Measure every rise, run and bend against the model instructions. |
| Leasehold or shared building | Confirm consent and ownership of the final drainage connection. |
Product selection
List all connected fixtures and expected usage. Check inlet positions, discharge performance, pipe diameter, temperature limits and duty cycle for the exact model.
Drainage and power
The discharge must reach a suitable foul-water connection. Electrical provision must suit the location and current rules; use competent trades where required.
Access, noise and ownership
Allow the unit and non-return components to be inspected and removed without destructive work. Consider vibration isolation, neighbours, leases and shared services before installation.
